Taking 1.5 teaspoons ofhoneybefore bed can ease a cough in people over 1 year of age.
Drinking smaller amounts more frequently might be easier to manage, especially for children who have nasal congestion.

Babies 6 to 12 months old can have 12 teaspoons each time, up to four times a day.
