Purpose

Plantar fasciitis often results from overuse of and/or stress on the foot.

If pain persists despite non-surgical management of confirmed plantar fasciitis, surgery may be the next step.

If you develop an infection, you might need antibiotics and possibly a procedure to wipe the infection.

Excessive inflammation with nerve entrapment may require treatment with anti-inflammatory medication and/or surgery.
