How Common Is VWD?
VWD is estimated to affect around 1% of the general population, approximately 1 in 100 people.
What Causes Von Willebrand Disease?
It is inherited in an autosomal dominant pattern.

Can You Prevent Von Willebrand Disease?

The diagnosis of VWD requires reviewing symptoms with a healthcare provider and undergoing various blood tests.
Even though VWD is not preventable or curable, it can be managed.
